Jewels for a hundred thousand dollars were found in the garbage

At a landfill in the US city of Gainesville, Georgia, was found a package of jewelry worth $ 100,000. This is reported by UPI.

Diamonds, precious rings and a bracelet fell into the trash by mistake. The woman who threw them away noticed the loss when bags of garbage had already been taken away. She called the dump and told what had happened.

She was lucky: the delivered waste had not yet been mixed with other garbage. With the help of an account book, which notes approaching garbage trucks, it was possible to determine where the jewelry could have gone. Five employees of the landfill spend several hours to sort out ten tons of garbage and find lost jewelry.
