Norway broke the historic record for the number of Olympic medals
Norway national team broke the record for the total number of medals won at a single Winter Olympics. On Saturday, February 24, the country's skiers were awarded the 38th award of the Games - bronze in team competitions, the correspondent of "TheEverydayNews.com" reports.
The previous achievement - 37 medals - belonged to the United States.
Now Norway has 13 gold medals, 14 silver and 11 bronze medals. The country ranks first in the overall standings. It is followed by Germany (13/7/6) and Canada (11/8/9). The USA is the fourth (8/8/6), Russia occupies the 15th position (1/5/8).
The Olympics in South Korean Pyeongchang will end on February 25.
